The UP College of Medicine has always been fertile ground for leaders in the different specialty societies in the country. The latest addition to this roster is Patricia Anne I. Cabral-Prodigalidad (UPCM99) who was recently elected as President of the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy (PSDE).

She has painstakingly raised the bar of advanced endoscopy training with her excellent programs and workshops these last few years. Her commitment to promote training and expertise in the field of advanced endoscopy is truly inspiring. When others were set back by of the challenges of the pandemic, she found ways to overcome these by finding the opportunities that lay within. The PSDE is fortunate to have such a passionate president who will surely lead the society to greater heights.
